Adult Peer Support Specialist Training

February 18th - 22nd, 2019

9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily

Bluegrass is approved by the Kentucky Department of Behavioral Health to present this 30-hour program offering the curriculum required to become a certified Adult Peer Support Specialist in Kentucky. Trainings are open to anyone in recovery from a mental health, substance use or co-occurring disorder interested in working as a PSS. Seating is limited and we do not keep a waitlist. In the event registration is full and spots become unavailable for February 2019, you may opt to register for the next training scheduled for the week of May 13th, 2019. The fee for early May registration is $125.

Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (ASMR)

Friday, March 8, 2019, Board Room, Building 2, 1351 Newtown Pike, Lexington, Kentucky

AMSR training is a one-day workshop for behavioral health professionals. The 6.5-hour program presents the five the most common dilemmas faced by providers and the best practices for effectively addressing them. Teaching and skill-building methods are based on the latest research and designed to help participants provide safer suicide care.

6.5 CEU Credits – ASWB, NBCC, APA, NASW. Meets requirements for KY MFT Suicide Risk Training.
